Effect of Composition Variation on The Crystal Size and Band Gap of Thin Film Nano Photocatalyst Fe₂O₃/CuO/MnO₂

Efforts that are now leading option most people using photocatalyst technology on semiconductor materials. MnO 2 is used as an auxiliary component development CuO-Fe O 3 to increase level degradation organic contaminants environment. This study aimed determine crystal size band gap Fe /CuO/MnO nanocomposite. type research a laboratory experiment, characterization tools include X-Ray Diffraction Uv-Vis Spectrophotometer. Synthesis nanocomposite with various compositions respectively, 0.9:2.9:1, 1:3:0.8, 1.1:3.1:0.6, 1, 2:3.2:0.4, 1.3:3.3:0.2 sol-gel method has been successful. Thin layer growth was carried out by spin coating sintering temperature 400° C. results show composition variation affects The sizes nanocomposites obtained 25.18 nm, 24.48 25.55 23.57 27.52 nm. energy values 1.55 eV, 1.44 1.45 1.46 eV.
